Admissions · Private bed available
From your first call to moving in.
A private bed is available. We start by listening, then review care needs, arrange a visit, and explain the costs and agreement before you decide.

Your first conversation and visit
Take time to get to know the home.
Your first conversation with us is an opportunity to explain what you are looking for and ask questions about the home. You can discuss your timing, the assistance that may be needed, and whether you would like to arrange a visit.
A visit gives you time to see the bedrooms and shared spaces and ask practical questions about daily life. You are welcome to bring someone you trust. Asking questions or visiting does not commit you to moving in.
The admissions process
What happens before and after a move.
Visits and screening are arranged around your circumstances. Sending an inquiry does not reserve a bed or commit you to a move.
- 01
Start with a conversation
Call or send an inquiry about care, timing, and costs. We aim to respond within 12 hours and discuss whether The Pearl could meet your needs.
- 02
Visit and complete screening
If you want to continue, we arrange a visit and private pre-admission screening. The licensee or administrator reviews care needs, preferences, and safety, including the help needed to leave in an emergency.
- 03
Review care and costs
Read the Residency Agreement, services, rates, refund terms, policies, and disclosures. Ask about anything that is unclear before signing.
- 04
Confirm the decision together
Admission depends on the person's choice, the assessment, available support, and required authorizations. We confirm whether the home can provide the care safely within its license.
- 05
Prepare for the move
Once admission is approved, we coordinate the move-in date, contacts, current care orders, medications, equipment, payment arrangements, and belongings.
- 06
Settle in and shape the care plan
We complete and document the assessment and care plan within the first 14 calendar days after admission. The plan records the help needed, who provides it, and when, alongside the resident's preferences.
Care and costs
Understand the agreement before you sign.
Before admission, we review care needs and confirm whether the home can provide the right support. We explain the proposed services and discuss costs and payment arrangements privately. The written residency agreement sets out what has been agreed, along with the home’s policies and your rights, so you have the information you need before deciding.
- Care and services included in the rate
- Additional charges, payment, and refund terms
- House policies and responsibilities
- Resident rights and how to raise concerns
- Who may receive updates and make decisions
- Arrangements for medications, mobility, and daily care
Sharing information
Keep medical records out of the public form.
Start with contact details, timing, and general questions. Please leave out diagnoses, medication lists, medical records, and identification numbers.
Call us before sending records so we can arrange an appropriate private way to receive them.
Settling in
Make the first days more familiar.
Tell us what would make the move easier: a usual morning routine, favorite belongings, or time with someone close.
We also agree on who can receive updates and how to stay in touch as the resident settles in.
